LPGA Teaching Professional | NCAA Division I Golfer | Professional Player

Sherri Yang is an LPGA-certified golf coach, professional player, and former NCAA Division I athlete. She brings a unique combination of competitive experience, academic excellence, and international exposure to junior and amateur players who are serious about developing their game—on and off the course.


Coaching Focus & Skills

  • College Golf Planning: Offers personalized advising to juniors pursuing collegiate golf in the U.S., using firsthand NCAA experience to guide academic and athletic development

  • Represented Team British Columbia and Team Canada in national and international junior tournaments
  • Achieved strong finishes in high-level events including CN Future Links, Canadian Junior Girls, Future Champions Golf, and AJGA tournaments
  • Attended international junior golf camps, such as the Kerry Cup, where she connected with coaches from leading universities including Duke, Princeton, and Yale
  • Developed extensive experience in training and competition at the junior level, laying the foundation for NCAA competition and long-term player development

Professional Golf Career (2025–Present)

  • Currently competing in LPGA Q School with the goal of qualifying for the Epson Tour or CLPGA
  • Serves as a brand ambassador for both Titleist and Callaway
  • Trained under elite coaches in the U.S. and internationally, focusing on swing performance, course strategy, and competitive mindset

Sherri attended a public high school in Richmond, BC. Before graduating, she received multiple admission and scholarship offers, including full scholarships.

University of California, Irvine (UCI) | 2021–2023

  • NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Team Member
  • Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics, Minor in Management
  • Graduated with honors (Cum Laude), named Scholar-Athlete all years, and selected for the Dean’s Honor List every quarter
  • Earned a scholarship upon admission and secured her roster position through performance

Duke University, Fuqua School of Business | 2024–2025

  • Completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
  • Accepted based on NCAA experience, golf resume, and and demonstrated leadership in driving change within the golf industry
  • Awarded an academic scholarship and is continuing to explore the intersection of sports and business, with a focus on bridging inherent gaps in the golf industry and driving innovation through technology.
